Columbia Cottage-Hershey Director Honored with ATHENA Award

Lancaster, PA ­– The Horst Group is proud to recognize Christine Horn, Managing Director of Columbia Cottage Hershey, for receiving the ATHENA Award from The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce. The award presented during The Chamber’s annual breakfast on December 15, 2016, honors Horn for professional excellence, community service and actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.

A licensed Personal Care and Assisted Living Administrator, Horn has served as Managing Director of Columbia Cottage-Hershey since 2006, where she leads services to promote optimal health and welfare for residents.

A resident of Palmyra, PA, Horn earned her Bachelor of Arts from Shippensburg University and her Master of Social Work from Temple University.

Columbia Cottage-Hershey holds the distinction of being the first and only licensed assisted living residence in the region. Founded in 1998, Columbia Cottage offers a long-term care alternative to skilled care, which promotes independence, privacy, dignity and choice.
